About JSON Toolkit

A free, fast, and privacy-first suite of JSON tools built for developers who work with data every day.

Our Mission

We believe that essential developer tools should be accessible to everyone — free, fast, and without barriers. JSON is the backbone of modern web development, APIs, and data exchange, yet many existing tools are cluttered with ads, require sign-ups, or send your data to remote servers.

JSON Toolkit was built to change that. Our mission is to provide the best JSON tools that work entirely in your browser, respect your privacy, and get out of your way so you can focus on building.

Features

  • JSON Formatter & Beautifier — Pretty print JSON with customizable indentation and syntax highlighting
  • JSON Validator — Validate JSON against RFC 8259 with clear, actionable error messages
  • JSON Compare & Diff — Side-by-side comparison to spot differences between two JSON documents
  • Format Conversion — Convert JSON to XML, YAML, CSV, and generate JSON Schema
  • Tree View Explorer — Navigate complex JSON structures with an interactive tree visualization
  • Minification — Compress JSON by removing whitespace for production use

Why We Built This

As developers ourselves, we were frustrated with existing JSON tools. Many are slow, riddled with intrusive ads, or require you to paste sensitive data into unknown servers. We wanted a tool that:

  • Processes everything locally — your data never leaves your browser
  • Works instantly with no loading spinners or server round-trips
  • Has a clean, modern interface without visual clutter
  • Is completely free with no feature gates or premium tiers
  • Respects your privacy with minimal tracking

Open Source

JSON Toolkit is open source and community-driven. We welcome contributions, feature requests, and bug reports from developers around the world. Whether you want to fix a typo, suggest a new feature, or help improve performance, your input is valued.

Visit our GitHub repository to explore the code, open issues, or submit pull requests.

JSON Toolkit is maintained by a small team of passionate developers and supported by an active community of contributors. We are committed to keeping the tool free, fast, and privacy-respecting.
